Proton therapy is very effective. The beam goes in at a much lower strength, hits the target, and then doesn’t go any further. And so knowing that I have that possibility of having treatments and not having potential side effects was a big deal. I can be in here, have my treatment at eight o’clock, be in the office by 8:30, conducting a regular day.
When you come in knowing you’ve got cancer, it’s kind of nice to have somebody on your side that says, “Hey, we understand.” It’s just a great place to be, great people here.
